Lens Review: Dueba Volte Brown

In my two latest posts I mentioned that I will do a post about my new contact lenses the Dueba Volte Brown. I guess I just go ahead and write about the lenses.

For not that long ago I heard from Shiro Samurai that the site Honeycolor had a sale on their entire Volte collection. All the lenses were seemingly half price from their regular price and that the most of them was already sold out. However, there was still the Dueba Volte Brown and Gray left that we both needed. A few clicks later I had ordered them both, gray to Shiro Samurai and brown for myself. I ordered the Volte Brown when I noticed that my previous brown contact lenses namely the Super Pinky Hazel started to get very dry and uncomfortable to wear. I just had to replace them with a pair of new, fresh contact lenses. No one wants to wear uncomfortable lenses when cosplaying, right?

When the lenses arrived, I took them out from their original vial bottles, had them to soak and then much later tried them on during this photoshoot that I had recently. Oh and I must say that the Volte Brown are way more comfortable than the Super Pinky Hazel ever was for me! Maybe it's because the Super Pinky Hazel lenses' pattern is so big for my eyes? I don't know. During the Walpurgis "cosplay" photoshoot I wore the Dueba Volte Brown contact lenses again and this time Shiro Samurai got some photos showing the lenses.

Lens review:

Color: 8/10
A nice soft touch of brown that's not in-your-face and pretty discreet. I like natural looking lenses!
Comfort: 10/10
My most comfortable lenses so far! Fits my eye shape too and no annoyance.
Design: 8/10
I personally like Volte's pattern a lot.
Enlargement: 4/10
There's just a small enlargement barely noticeable on my eyes. Great!
Naturalness: 9/10
I think they look pretty natural unless you get more close to the wearer.
Opacity: 7/10
Not a very strong and covering color but it gets the job done.

Frozen Angel out.
